Hi friends,
I've been feeling pretty messy, feeling like I've been EXTRA falling apart these last few weeks... And I'm so grateful in especially hard times for the medicine of plants, of slowing down, of a cup of tea, and of spaces and relationships where messiness and grief is truly welcome.
After setting this course down for almost a year, I'm offering it again because I also need it.
Grief can bring us back to other people and plants, demand we find others to help us hold it, and demand we find some way to honor it. This course is for those feeling similarly and seeking some tangible care practices and containers in which your messy, tender self is welcomed as you are, while you are also seen as extraordinarily capable of honoring your grief, being moved by it, and making deep, needed medicine alongside others.
Plants are incredible models in falling apart and making medicine while we do it.
I am often surprised that in these times of massive loss, there are not more folx offering herbalism for grief support courses that go beyond a workshop or two, or that include space for participants to reflect together, and build relationships with one another along the way. There are SO MANY WAYS plants can support us, AND so many ways that we can support each other, in learning and grieving alongside one another.
I am honored to get to teach this course, share these materials, introduce y'all to some of my beloved teachers, and to be in a weekly rhythm of tending to our herbal practices and grief alongside one another.... inspired as always by the plants.
If you've had your eye on it, enrollment closes in two days (Friday, 12/20), for our herbalism for grief support course that begins this January 💗
